First Prize, Services Industries Award
“RTD Technology Ltd. t/a Asistec" Asistec has won first place for the Services Industries Awards. Their business model is was noted to offer particular added value solutions to the scientific community with excellent back up applications and technical expertise.
The competition was independently adjudicated and the selection criteria involved employment potential, marketing strength, financial strength, innovation/technology and quality of business.
Senator Feargal Quinn was guest of honour at the function, which was attended by representatives of the 21 companies shortlisted from the 103 which entered the competition.
The Awards Competition highlights the contribution that small enterprises make to Ireland's economic development and acknowledges their role in building a vibrant and successful indigenous business sector.
Asistec were also finalists in the 'Client Company Award' category.
