Bath Circulators
Huber Bath Circulators with MPC-E and CC-E
Bath/Circulation Thermostats are thermostats with bath openings which allow objects to be directly thermo-regulated in the bath as well as a pump.
Compatible Control Thermostats have pressure and suction pump for closed (pressure pump) and open (suction and pressure pumps)
external circuit.
Concept of Huber Compatible Control Thermostats
Huber Compatible Control Thermostats are a range of open bath thermostats with classical construction. The pump, sensor, heating, and in the case of refrigerating bath thermostats, the evaporator; are to be found in the rear part of the bath. This enables the use of optional calibration inserts for highly accurate calibration tasks or the use of displacement inserts to boost the speed of temperature change.
The Huber "Plug and Play" technology allows a basic model to be upgraded to an interactive high-tech model with ease and at any time. The Compatible Controllers are interchangeable. The functions of the basic CC-Pilot controller can be extended at any time via an activation key.
The budget MPC models, however, do not have the comfort of the Plug&Play technology and are limited to basic functions.
In its simplest version, the bath thermostat is a combination of an immersion thermostat (MPC-E or CC-E) and a bath (A, B or a cooling bath K). Objects are temperature controlled directly in the bath itself. For temperatures below that produced by self-heating, the Intra-Coolers (TC-Models), Flow-through-Chillers (DC models) or optional cooling coils for water cooling are available. With an additional pump adapter, external closed applications can be temperature controlled. Typical examples are Autoclaves, Photometers, Viscosity meters, Refraction meters, Distillation columns and Heat exchangers. .
The lowest cost combinations are fitted with the immersion thermostat MPC-E. As with the top model CC-E with "CC-Pilot" controller, these models are also equipped with a powerful suction and pressure pump for peak temperatures of 200°C. MPC-models are available as "Advanced" with a factory fitted sensor connection socket and the serial interface RS232.
Bath thermostats with the immersion thermostat CC-E have a pump rotation speed which is continuously variable, for optimum circulation in the bath. All CC-models contain a digital RS232 interface as standard equipment. The optional ComBox (containing an RS485digital interface, analogue interface 4-20mA, stand-by signal and programmable alarm) and an external pressure sensor allows the pressure of external applications to be controlled. Variable Pressure control VPC (Variable Pressure Control) was developed to protect glass reactors from damage caused by high fluid pressure with Unistats®.
Bath and circulation thermostats with CC-Pilot are real all-rounders. The temperature control unit and the bath generally cannot be separated. Theses models stand out, due to high cooling and heating capacities but still having compact construction. The bestseller ministat®, remain the smallest refrigeration thermostat in the world since 1976. The two bigger ministats® are also the smallest and most powerful and best selling thermostats within their class.
An external Pt100 sensor may be fitted for optimum temperature control of external objects. All bath and circulation thermostats with the CC-Pilot have an RS232 interface and a Lemosa connector for connection of the external Pt100 as standard.

Recirculation Thermostats
Recirculation Thermostats (Unistat ®)

Cold-warm re-circulation thermostats:High precision thermo-regulation from -120/ 400°C
Definition:
A Recirculation Thermostat is a thermostat in which thermofluid is pumped through an open or closed extemal circuit. Recirculation thermostats in the Unistats® range can have a thermally decoupled expansion vessel, whose surface temperature is not the operating temperature. They do not have an accessible bath. Unistats have a thermally decoupled active surface (expansion vessel), whereby the surface temperature is not necessarily the same as the operating temperature.
Tango and the larger Unistats are so-called cold-warm re-circulation thermostats according to DIN 12876. In comparison with conventional bath and re-circulation thermostats, they contain no open bath, and thus have no active (temperature controlled) surfaces open to atmosphere. This minimises oil vapours and bad smells from polluting the atmosphere at high temperatures. At low temperatures, the absorbtion of water vapour by the oil is prevented and the resulting life of the thermofluid thus extended by many times.
Why Tango and the big-power Unistats?
Unistats have a very small internal volume, and thus a very high cooling power to volume (watt/litre) ratio according to DIN 12876. This ratio describes the dynamic performance of a thermostat. The primary concern is how fast a temperature can be changed in a system. With exothermic reactions for example, this can be critically important for safety.
Unistats are hydraulically sealed circulation thermostats with the ability to provide the fastest ramp rates in the industry to give the tightest control over process temperature. They are available for the range of -120°C to +425°C.
The "Tango Nuevo" models now operate up to 250°C, have a more powerful and variable high performance pump, and application optimised circulation through "VPC" technology, and a continuously variable internal bypass.

Petite Fleur – The Baby Tango
The baby Tango is the entry level model for temperature control applications in the mid-range -40 °C to 200 °C.
The Tango is the original and smallest circulator of the Unistat® range, which has been the benchmark for many years. The „Petite Fleur" in comparison with the Tango Nuevo, is 2/3 the size, 2/3 the power and 2/3 the price. The Tango and the Unistats® are suitable for externally open baths or closed applications, e.g. reactors. The first version of „Petite Fleur", the baby Tango, is designed for externally closed applications. A second version for open bath applications is in preparation.

Chillers
Huber Chillers Unichiller® and Minichiller®
Unichillers® are intelligent chillers which are used mainly as an environmentally friendly and economic alternative to tap water for process cooling. Low temperatures increase efficiency and recovery rates in gas condensation processes. In contrast to tap water a desired setpoint can be selected between -10/-20 °C to 40 °C and controlled with a temperature stability of +- 0.5 °C. The product range includes 27 air cooled and 26 water cooled models, with cooling powers from 0.3 kW to 50 kW. Most models can be factory fitted with a heater. The casings are made of stainless steel
to ensure long life and high quality.
Minichiller®
Extremely compact circulation coolers
with a cooling capacity of 300 or 400 watts at 15°C. They ideally can be used for back cooling of condensers from vacuum pumps, for 1 litre rotation
evaporators or smaller heat exchangers.
With the exception of the two models in tower casings (UC006w and UC009w) all units can be factory fitted with optional heating and independent overtemperature protection. The maximum working temperature increases to 100 °C and the temperature stability is +/-0.5 K. The new construction allows constant operation in ambient temperatures up to 40 °C. The water-cooled models are especially quiet and require little cooling water even at full cooling power.
Unichiller®
Top models in tower housing with CC-Pilot
The proven Huber tower models offer power with small footprints. These top models have the exchangeable Compatible Control CC-Pilot. They are used in both research and production. The range of cooling powers available is from 1.6 to 100 kW. All models have the exchangeable Compatible Control "CC-Pilot." The cooling power is regulated by an automatic stepper motor controlled valve to adapt to the actual requirements. The environmentally friendly energy management system minimises heat emission and reduces the operating costs (cooling water and electricity) of the water cooled models. The sound levels of the air-cooled models have been minimised through the use of speed controlled condenser fans. The refrigeration systems are exceptionally robust and can operate in environmental temperatures up to 40 °C. The internal CAN technology allows connection to a range of power and control components and is therefore suitable for this wide ranging product group: The new Unichillers® with air- or water-cooled refrigeration systems are available from cooling powers of 1.7 kW for typical laboratory applications. The powerful Unichillers® with cooling powers up to 100 kW are also used as a central supply of cooling water for labs or complete buildings
Process circulators with heating:
Unichillers® with an optional heating become powerful process circulators for the mid temperature range -10/-20 up to 100° C with a temperature stability of +/-0.1 K.

CC Pilot-Controller (E-grade)
A highly modern compatible control controller with new, innovative, E-grade technology for function expansion without changing the controller – just using an activation key – as well as the tried and tested Plug and Play technology for professional service.
The graphics enabled TFT screen and the unique menu guidance Easy-Control is virtually identical to the Unistats. The CC-Pilot can be used as a remote control using a data cable. The functions can be expanded using E-grade from the basic version upwards. The functions are self explanatory. The display can be varied. Important data (Set point, actual measured value, internal and process as well as the over temperature value set) can be chosen to be displayed in large text on the screen. This eases reading from a distance, and sharpens the view of the essential. The display resolution in the basic version is 0.1°C. The temperature format can be chosen as Celsius or Fahrenheit.
Depending on the pump motor fitted to the temperature control system, the pump speed or the maximum pressure can be continuously varied. VPC (variable pressure control) protects against glass breakage. The working range can be restricted with the set-point limits and the systems action in response to the activation of one of the programmable alarms can be chosen from a list of options. In the case of an alarm, an optical and audible alarm signal can be activated. The clock and the calendar enable individual setting for the auto-start after a power failure or in standby. Also the control sensor can be calibrated. An RS232 interface allows data recording, the connection of a ComBox and the linking into a process control system.
