The compact arium® EDI 61215 laboratory water purification system is designed to produce ASTM type 2 water for general laboratory applications.

The arium® EDI 61215 guarantees constant water quality and high economy for daily lab use, delivering purified water at a rate of at least 15 l/hr and retaining 99% of single- and multiple-charged ions as well as bacteria and viruses. These powerful RO membranes reduce loss of water, ensuring excellent quality of the purified water and a high retention rate of the constituents in the raw water.

The use of proven Ionpure® EDI technology guarantees the highest quality of reagent grade water (ASTM type 2). The arium® EDI 61215 purification procedure that combines reverse osmosis, softening and electronic chemical desalting enables nearly maintenance-free and inexpensive supply of pure water. The continuous, automatic regeneration of the system eliminates the need to change used ion exchange resin.

Sartorius Arium® 615S Softener Systems

Model Series EDI 615S

The arium^® 615S water softening systems are designed to produce highly softened water, free of magnesium and calcium. Compact mounted on 4 rollers, the softener units can be ordered in 3 different types, variable in production capacity (440, 600 or 1200 liter at 20°dH). All systems can be readiliy regenerated with sodium chlorine brine. Regeneration is timer-controlled allowing the user pre-adjust regeneration intervals.

This unit removes up to 99% ionized impurities, 99.9% bacteria, viruses2 and organic compounds3 from the feed stream.

A built-in membrane pump provides constant flow rates, enabling uninterrupted operation. Utilizing the latest TFC (thin-film composite) RO membrane technology, arium® 613 units are capable of producing permeate in excess of 50 % of the initial feed volume.

Sartorus arium® RO 61316

With a production rate of up to 16 litres per hour, the arium® 61316 is capable of producing up to 380 litres of reverse osmosis (RO) water per day, meeting all but the largest laboratory needs. The practical design allows the system to be benchtop or wall mounted.

An alphanumeric display continuously indicates water quality and tank level. The pre-pressurized storage tank is hermetically sealed. As the tank requires no venting during filling or emptying, airborne contaminants and gases are excluded from the stored water. In addition to providing ideal pretreatment for Type 1 water systems, the arium® 61316 can be deliver pressurized RO water through an accessory port directly to a dishwasher or autoclave.

Regardless of which water standard you need, arium® Tower delivers!

Capable of direct delivering both, RO and ultrapure (Type 1) water, on demand. The unique design of the tower only requires inlet connections to power and a suitable water source and connection of discharge tubes to a drain. No additional fittings or connections are required.

This dedicated, easily movable workstation is able to supply the needs of a busy laboratory with both reagent grade and purified water in one single system.

The individual components of the tower may be purchased separately to accommodate specific requirements.

611ATOC1	TOC (Total Organic Monitoring) Instrument Can be used for monitoring TOCs in a number of fluids including high-purity laboratory water systems such as the arium® 611.
611AMDG1	Dispense gun This dispenser is designed to dispense Type1 water at a distance from the arium® 611 system. Washing glassware in the sink up to 2.4 meters from the system is no longer a problem. This helps to  maintain the high purity of the water within the system and at the  point of use.
611APR1	Ink-Jet printer for data collection. Obtains printed hard copies of the arium® 611 and arium® 61316 performance. Date, time, resistance or conductivity will be automatically sent to the printer at time intervals as selected.

Under-bench mounting kit	When bench space is at a premium or there is a need to mount the dispense|display unit remotely from the arium® 611, our under-bench mounting kit provides a solution. Once installed, the under-bench mounting kit allows the dispense| display unit to be located up to 2 meters from the arium® 611 itself. This option makes installation within a laminar flow cabinet, isolator or simply over a sink a reality. All parts required can be ordered under one number on request.
